My late start this morning, including a round-the-block back-track to pick up my forgotten toothbrush, means I'm hunkering down in a Wal-Mart parking lot in Kansas. I say hunkered down because it is super windy, and with the car-topper on let's just say its like someone put a quarter in it. I will just go straight to Moab from here (8 hours) and possibly camp at Indian Creek (another 1-2 hours?). I will have to stop in Moab for some local beta on where to camp.
That means I have a whole day to check out the Creek on Friday. Perhaps I can sell all the extra gear I transported and make an extra buck! If I display all of the cams out in the morning I'm betting that finding partners wouldn't be too difficult.
I hope it isn't too windy tomorrow morning for making breakfast. [it was]
