Jeremy, Sarah, Eve, Me and Ben enjoy lunch in the shade.

We checked out the Black Corridor for some moderate sport routes. Jer and Ben started the day with Psychobilly, an 11a, on accident. Not exactly the best warm up climb, but a good quality route. I started on a runout 5.9 and then did Vegabonds, a nice long 10a.
After lunch we checked out the Sweet Pain wall. Jer lead a very nice 11a called Glitter Gulch, that we all took a turn on.

Jeremy on Glitter Gulch.

Eve on Glitter

I wanted to get on Sweet Pain, 5.11d. Its a short route, but one of the few juggy overhanging routes at the Calico area we visited. I onsighted it, which is my hardest onsight climb yet.
Me on Sweet Pain

More of me on Sweet Pain (Some say that it is only an 11c, even so it would still be my hardest onsight). It was a fun climb for sure.

The next day we went around the back side of Calico. Jeremy and Sarah did a two pitch 5.6 trad route that looked super sweet. Ben, Eve and I just sported it at Cannibal Crag. We found an awesome arete climb called Caustic, 5.11b. I thought this climb was harder than Sweet Pain. Fell on the first go, then punched right up it on the second go. Ben came really really close to getting the redpoint, but fell at the last move!
