My new fish facility

I started my post-doc position at Northwestern last week. I will be working in the LaBonne Lab and will be looking at the evolution of the developmental pathways that led to vertebrate neural crest (cells responsible for various vertebrate innovations like facial bone, peripheral nerve cells and pigment cells). I inherited an empty zebrafish facility and will be in charge of introducing fish to the LaBonne lab, which currently works with frogs but is very much interested in the usefulness of zebrafish transgenic lines and genetics.
